Loading herbs on the Yocan Whirly Premium Manual Herb Grinder
- Open the Yocan Whirly Premium Manual Herb Grinder by pulling the lid away from the base.
- When you see the diamond-shaped teeth, load a reasonable amount of herbs into the chamber.
- Close the lid by sliding it back in place.
Note: Gently pull the magnetic lid until you no longer feel resistance. Likewise, when closing the magnetic lid, slide it in gently until the lid and the body of the Yocan Whirly Premium Manual Herb Grinder snaps back in place.
Grinding herbs with the Yocan Whirly Premium Manual Herb Grinder
- Make sure the Yocan Whirly Premium Manual Herb Grinder has been loaded with your select dry herb strains.
- Also make sure that the magnetic lid has been slid back in place to prevent the herbs from spilling out of the manual grinder.
- Twist the grinder either in a single clockwise motion or a rocking back and forth direction.
- Once the grinding action begins to feel buttery smooth, stop the grinding process.
- Give the grinder a tap and pull the bottom part to collect the ground herbs.
- You may then collect the kief and save it for later use.
Note: When collecting kief, be sure to use the pollen scraper so as not to have the pollen stick to your fingers. Utilizing the pollen scraper also means that you can get more pollen out of the chamber compared to when using other tools.
Cleaning and maintenance of the Yocan Whirly Premium Manual Herb Grinder
- Make sure that you have collected all the herbs as well as the pollen from the Yocan Whirly Premium Manual Herb Grinder.
- You may use a toothbrush or any small brush to gently remove any leftover material from the Yocan Whirly Premium Manual Herb Grinder.
- You may also use a wooden toothpick to scrape off hardened residual material from the herb grinder. For more stubborn ones, you may dab it first in isopropyl alcohol to soften it up. Then, you may scrape it using a wooden toothpick.
- Alternatively, you may place your grinder inside the fridge. When cold enough, the residual material with harden enough that soft taps and gentle brushing will be more than enough to get them off.
Note: Use wooden toothbrush as hard metal picks can cause damage to the Yocan Whirly Premium Manual Herb Grinder. It may scratch or dent the manual herb grinder and the physical damage may even be irreparable.
