The words affordability and high-quality never really went together in the vaping industry, the costs of designing a reliable and dependable vaporizer together with the best materials meant a definitive increase in the overall costs of manufacturing a vaporizer. The aphorism “you get what you pay for” clearly represented the reality in the vaporizer industry. Yocan, changed the meta of the industry by providing consumers with high-quality vaporizers such as  Yocan UNI Pro ,  Yocan Hit  and  Yocan Regen  at an affordable price allowing them to gain a strong foothold of the market and earn a place amongst the top manufacturers in the business.

Yocan is now regarded as one of the best manufacturers in the vaping industry winning over numerous patents for several vape technologies you won’t see on other vaping devices. Their ingenuity as a team led to numerous products that shows no one has to sacrifice quality for affordability – a reflection of their core value and their mission from Yocan’s humble beginnings.

Yocan is a company based in Shenzhen, China. One of Yocan’s primary goal is to provide smokers and health-conscious individuals with the opportunity to find a more beneficial alternative. This means providing equal opportunity to all consumers especially to those who can’t afford expensive vaporizers to help then rid themselves of the harmful effects of inhaling smoke from combusted plant matter and other burnt materials. That's why their products are sold at a reasonable price while still maintaining the quality of other vaporizers twice or even thrice its price. They’re simply not in it for the profit, Yocan has a deep-rooted goal that reflects their nature being natives in the birthplace of the modern-day vaporizer. It's only befitting that a manufacturer from the motherland comes up with a vaporizer the market truly needs – functional and reliable vaping devices that won’t cost customers an arm and a leg.

Products from Yocan target a wide array of individuals; from medicating patients to recreational consumers. They even manufacture devices for athletes, vocalists, and professionals who use select botanical blends to help them deal with managing pain and muscle spasms after or during training as well as for handling anxiety so they can stay functional during the times they need it the most. These individuals all prefer to use Yocan vapes. A good example is the Yocan Hive which can be used with a myriad of essential oils and concentrates with therapeutic benefits.

Being in an area that was the first city to be established as a special economic zone for China, is a representation of Yocan’s capacity and capability as a manufacturer. Yocan is headquartered in a place of growth and development, they have claimed a place situated in the heart of China’s industrial center and one of the fastest growing cities in the world. Being in this place of craftsmanship, mastery, and artistry, Yocan has all the right tool and material to manufacture high-quality products from dry herb vaporizers,  dab pens , oil pens, and even e-nails. Together with their strong partnership with some of the biggest names in the industrial field, they are able to get the best materials at the lowest price possible allowing them to craft vaporizers from some of the best fabricating medium the industry has to offer.

Established in 2013, Yocan began producing wax vaporizers and dry herb vaporizers the world truly needed.

Yocan has been known for manufacturing great devices for dry herb and wax concentrate consumption. One of their most popular vaporizers are those from the Evolve line like the  Yocan Evolve Plus Vaporizer. However, Yocan’s first successful product was the predecessor to the Evolve line – the original Yocan Evolve vape pen. The Evolve was one of Yocan’s first few dab pen models that included a functional coil cap. Many consumers complain that wax pens usually produce spit backs that hurt their lips and their tongues as the wax concentrates come to a bubble when heated. The Yocan Evolve was a vaporizer that answered that issue by providing consumers with a wax pen vaporizer that had a functional coil cap which blocks common spit backs while still allowing unobstructed vapor yield.

The  Yocan Evolve Vaporizer  was outfitted with a rechargeable battery pack that boasted a 650mAh capacity. To top it all off it had a 10-second shutoff feature that allowed the wax vaporizer or the  dab pen  to automatically turn itself off after 10 seconds of inactivity. This was imperative especially because the Yocan Evolve emerged at a time where news of exploding dab pens can be seen or heard here and there. The fear of having a vaporizer burst from within your pocket or much worse, in your face, was rife and widespread at that time and the automatic shutoff feature gave consumers a much-needed peace of mind when using a portable vaporizer.

Yocan has also found success in some of their earlier vaporizer models. As an example, one of their earliest versions of a universal 510-threaded atomizer won the “Best Wax Vape” award in an event held in San Francisco on August 24, 2014. Hailed as one of the best dab vaporizers, the Yocan EXgo V1 battery coupled with the Yocan EXgo W3 wax pen kits wowed the public with its superb performance.

The year after, Yocan received further recognition from their portable dome less e-nail in an award held in San Jose on February 28, 2015. The HempCon Cup hailed the Yocan Ultron as the “Best New Product” for that event.

In 2016, Yocan was the success of the Evolve Vaporizer come full circle as the Yocan Evolve Vaporizer was warmly received by the American and the Canadian market. Yocan Evolve received great reviews as seen on videos from YouTube as well as from actual customer testimonials on online vape forums.

It's true that the Yocan Evolve vaporizer did not get the praise it deserved from the get go which is understandable since there have been earlier players on the market and it was not easy to penetrate the vape market especially in the United States. However, after a short while when consumers learned what the Evolve Vaporizer and Yocan as a brand was all about, they immediately jumped to the wagon and began a long and solid relationship with Yocan. After the Yocan Evolve Vaporizer’s success, they’ve manufactured later versions which brought forth many different iterations of their flagship model. One of the more notable models from the Evolve line is the Evolve Plus, out of all the wax pen vaporizers from the Evolve family, the Evolve Plus was the epitome of what perfection and the ideal marriage of flavor and potency was.

The iconic dual quartz atomizers or what Yocan likes to call QDC made consumers experience a balanced hit with decent flavor retention as well as elevated potency perception. It had an improved battery with an 1100mAh capacity, it was also one of the first few devices which sported the integrated concentrate container which meant that consumers can now travel with extra wax without having to carry or lug around large and bulky jars. The Evolve Plus made for a powerful and compact device which allows consumers to enjoy the benefits of wax concentrate consumption without having to sacrifice performance and functionality.

Yocan has had a long history of manufacturing vaporizers and they have a strong experience base which gives them the advantage of using their knowledge to produce world-class devices. While it’s true that price can be one of the most significant factors to draw the public’s attention to their products, it’s mainly the ingenuity of the design and engineering of their products that won the hearts of consumers worldwide. The level of craftsmanship they show in their products as well as how affordable they turn out to be is simply mind-blowing. It would seem that  Yocan vaporizers  are stripped off of features that they operate using just the bare essentials, but it’s just what makes their devices effective and affordable. They removed all unnecessary parts and features that won’t only get in the way of the actual user experience but will also make their vaporizers more expensive. Yocan vapes are seen by many as sort of drag race cars of vaporizers. They scrape all the parts that will bear weight which makes these devices more efficient and effective.

Each model is designed by Yocan’s talented R&D team, these folk works laboriously to come up with newer vape models as often as they can. This involves coming up with ideas no other vape company or manufacturer has ever had – at least none that was formally released as an official product. Yocan has been relentless in the pursuit of coming up with new device consistently and have found great success with it. This is why consumers have noticed Yocan vaporizers, they are kept excited with new devices coming out almost every quarter. It piques the consumer’s interest in Yocan vapes as they’re kept on their feet waiting for newer models to come up. Another reason why people are interested in Yocan is that it makes vaping so easy.

Their vaporizers are made to operate and function easily without giving the consumer so much of a hard time and allowing them to experience the benefits of something that would take a long time by providing them with devices that can be utilized with just a push of a single button. No fussy setups, no long and laborious preparations which keeps beginners from vaping because they see vaping as a daunting task. The ability to cut a long process short turns vaping smore into a fun and rewarding experience. Yocan has since then been a master of making vaping convenient not only for newcomers but also for advanced consumers who want to use an easy and a straightforward device which lets them vape without having to conquer such a feat. Yocan knows how to keep up with the trend and what battery way to keep their devices and line of vaporizers updated rather than to have newer versions of their earlier models revamped into better looking and more functional devices.

You can easily pick up a Yocan device and use it like a pro, especially if you have prior experience with vaporizers and with vaping in general. Yocan stuck to the idea and design of the vape pen by outfitting their devices with only one power button. Having a single means to control the unit will provide consumers with a seamless experience as compared to having vaporizers built with various buttons that would most likely confuse an individual seeking treatment from using botanical plant matter and wax concentrates. By keeping to this design consumers are able to use newer models of vaporizers without having to learn a new vaping style or technique. Arguably, the most important part is because adapting will take time and for consumers who need immediate and accurate results, sticking with a tried and tested method of operating a dry herb pen or a wax pen is the best way to go. Yocan also seems to stay true to their roots since they have always been vape pen manufacturers whether it be vaporizers for dry herb, vaporizers for wax concentrates, or vaporizers for thick oils. The design can obviously be seen in all models as they always bear some kind of semblance to a vape pen one way or another.

One of their most successful line in the Yocan brand is the family of Yocan Evolve Vaporizers. It has had many iterations through the years, all well received by vaping communities from all parts of the world. The first and the original Yocan Evolve is still in production to this day and brand-new models are still made and manufactured. A proof that even a model made a few years past can still remain relevant until this very day. The first Yocan Evolve Vaporizer showed the public only the basics but was a pretext of what was to come. After its success came forth newer models that not only boasted better technology and larger battery capacities for added power and longevity but also vaporizers that are capable of accommodating multiple varieties of materials. It was an instant success and made the newer models an overnight success.

The Yocan Evolve D was a version of the Evolve model made specifically for dry herb consumption. It was able to vaporize different kinds of herbal and botanical strains while still maintaining a small and sleek appearance. It had a functional mouthpiece as the original Evolve had a functional coil cap. The mouthpiece can be tamped which means that there was no need to stir or to keep on removing and replacing the mouthpiece during sessions. On the other hand, you’ve got the Yocan Evolve C which was made exclusively for thick oils which allows consumers to take on a more viscous type of material that’s known more for its therapeutic and remedial properties unlike herbs that are known more for their psychoactive properties.

The Yocan Evolve C was later updated to take in both wax concentrates as well as e-liquids through the use of an interchangeable heating element. And, the beauty of all these models was they can be used interchangeably. It was no sooner that Yocan released one of the most cost-effective units on the market. The Yocan Evolve 3-in-1 vaporizer. It used the same standard battery but had all the attachments from the Evolve D, the Evolve C, and the original Evolve Vaporizer. It allowed consumers to enjoy almost all the available material varieties on the market – all these without having to buy a different vaporizer for each material type. You’re virtually using a single solid battery and changing the heating element as you please. This was an ingenious design since it allowed each material type to have a separate chamber or receptacle of its own. This prevents the materials from mixing with each other as well as from creating residues that will be tougher and harder to remove due to the nature of the mixed material varieties. This design and engineering will later manifest in more recent models in the Evolve line.

After the multi-functional vape trend, Yocan focused their R&D team to a more specialized approach to vaping and consuming particular material types. The wax pen platform was booming at the time and so Yocan sized the opportunity to manufacture devices that are geared towards the optimum means of consuming waxy oil concentrates.

The Plus models are Evolve vaporizers that are upgraded and are enhanced to give way to a certain effect and upshot from consuming a certain material type. The first on the list was the Evolve Plus Vaporizer. I had improved everything from the basic Evolve model and took it to newer and greater heights. As we’ve mentioned earlier, it had a beefy 1100mAh battery, an integrated concentrate container at the bottom and the iconic QDC. Its successor was the meanest and the baddest in the Yocan Evolve line – the  Yocan Evolve Plus XL Vaporizer.

The Evolve Plus XL had an improved 1400mAh battery which was carefully selected to supply sufficient power to a whopping atomizer that was built with 4 quartz rods wrapped in premium coils. Instead of having a standard two rods wrapped in coils Yocan decided to take it to a whole new level. It brought vaping to a level where it feels like it’s kind of overdone. However, advanced users and veteran vapers who have built stronger tolerance through experience preferred the Evolve Plus XL’s knock off your socks experience. It easily amplifies the potency of your select wax concentrates as the higher the temperature wax is subjected to; the more cannabinoids are produced and are extracted into the vapor. Since the Yocan Evolve Plus XL is highly capable of achieving high temperatures quickly, it can easily give you hard-hitting vapors in a matter of seconds. It was considered by many as a real hard-hitter.

Yocan has gained several patented technologies though the years. One of the first of several original ideas from Yocan was the Evolve Plus Vaporizer. The quartz dual coils (QDC) or dual quartz coil design in the Evolve plus received patent under the number 201620514945.X.

Another device Yocan was able to file patent for was the Pandon. The  Yocan Pandon  in essence was also running a quad coil but only because it utilized two quartz dual coils on a single unit. This design was patented by Yocan with the patent number 201620697529.8.

Lastly, one of the most iconic vaporizers of this century was designed to combine two of the most important tools in dry herb consumption. A grinder and a vaporizer. The  Yocan iShred  was patented by Yocan with the number 201621044154.1.

Yocan is backed with a strong team of developers and engineers which was one of the key figures to Yocan’s success.

The latest iteration of the Evolve model was yet to be its culmination in terms of design and technology. The Evolve 2.0 is a combination of what was the best in the wax pen platform and a new and upcoming platform, pod-based vaporizers. It also employs the same idea the Yocan Evolve 3-in-1 had and transformed it into a pod-based system. The Evolve 2.0 is basically a vape pen that uses pods for different extracts.

Yocan never ceases to impress, with a continuous streak of vaping devices and a few more planned ahead, both the brand and the consumers who patronize the brand only have good things ahead of them. As an example, Yocan has already started 2019 with a barrage of vaporizer models geared towards the next generation of vape users. They’ve began with the Yocan Evolve 2.0 and now they’ve upped their game for the first quarter by releasing the Yocan Trio Vaporizer. The Yocan Trio may be similar with the Yocan Evolve 2.0 in terms of features but it comes in a smaller and more portable design. It's barely 3 inches taller which makes it easily portable and concealable. Another device we see getting the exposure it deserves is the Yocan UNI Box Mod Vaporizer , it’s the world's first and only universal box mod that’s capable of accepting any 510-threaded cartridge with sizes up to 12 mm in diameter. This is the only device that’s capable of doing so and does it in a concealed and discreet manner. The Yocan Uni Box Mod makes for a truly comprehensive unit for cartridges of different varieties.
